Self regulating heating cables
Self-regulating heating cables decrease the power if the surface temperature rises, and increase power if the surface temperature drops. The cable provide power where it is needed.
Max working temperature
Self-regulating heating cables are used in frost protection and maintaining an even temperature. The technology has many advantages – cable length can be adjusted as appropriate and they do not overheat if positioned on top of each other. This facilitates installation on, e.g. flanges and valves. Backer offers a broad and flexible range of self-regulating heating cables. We have cables that can handle temperatures up to 250°C and wattages up to 90W/m. They are EX-approved.
