To ensure the product's function, we have access to a number of different tools and software programs that our engineers use to achieve the right performance throughout the process. To achieve the right thermal design, advanced calculation programs and configurators are used. Using CFD (Computational fluid dynamics), the flow and thermodynamic properties are simulated before we can finally build and test our prototypes in Backer's advanced lab.
The lab is equipped with a number of different test benches, climate chambers, cold rooms and vibration shaking tables to try the product under as realistic conditions as possible. Everything is made under surveillance with sound measuring equipment and thermal imaging cameras to monitor them during operation.
