Backer AB was recently certified according to both IATF and ISO 45001. We thereby further strenghten our organisation by continually and methodogically focusing on safety, quality and control. The safety and quality work is highly prioritized in all parts of the Backer organisation. More resources have recently been appointed for this purpose and we continually focus on optimizing our processes to guarantee optimal results for our customers, partners and employees.

The future of heat pumps is bright. Recently, the International Energy Agency, IEA, released a report on heat pumps and the results are clear. The IEA sees that heat pumps can and should play a major role in the transition to fossil-free heating of our buildings. They also see that heat pumps in this way will be able to play a decisive role in achieving various environmental goals in general.

On October the 6th-7th, 20 representatives from 10 different purchasing departments, from 10 different countries, met in Sösdala to discuss group strategies moving forward. Led by Group Purchasing Manager, Henrik Johansson, everybody gathered to share experiences and best practice to ensure synergy effects and continued good results.
